An Art Community

CoMA Campus

180,000 square feet in 11 unique industrial buildings on nearly four acres. Every building was constructed at a different era making for an incredible veriety of creative industrial spaces. 10 of the buildings are clustered together on the East side of the site with the largest building located on the West side of the Site. This allows for a phonominal private acre quad between the two entities. This quad will be used for outdoor concerts and other events. CoMA Campus is centered between New York City (50 miles) and Philadelphia (35 miles) and a five minute taxi ride from the NJ Transit / Amtrak / Septa express Trenton train stations. CoMA Campus is a private community. Membership dues are $100 per year per person. There are fees for specific uses and exposure. General use allows full access to CoMA Campus on a daily.

Founders Jon Drezner and Benjamin Keating have created a morphasizing campus for creators obsessed with the exploration of consequential making. It is their interest to allow the campus to be a flowing environment allowing all mediums to interact. No person will have a specific “space.” The campus is open. The artists join the campus for a fixed monthly rate. Each member will be provided a locker or space for their equipment for storage needed for their making. Artists are able to set up most anywhere they would like on the campus. The campus is also open to other users interested in a thriving creative environment. These additional users may set up at existing work stations / carrels / meeting rooms / practice rooms etc… and do what they might do otherwise at their a home office. Members may also network with other CoMA members in many of CoMA Campus public spaces. Certain spaces may be reserved. CoMA Campus is WiFI

CoMA’s prized space is a 1,500 sf recording room constructed about half a century ago for the WTOA radio station. The recording room is considered one of the best and largest on the East Coast. The space was designed aqustically assuming the musician’s played perfectly and it was the recording rooms’ responsibility to grasp the sounds perfectly. The Trenton Symphony played a live show regularly. Please listen to samples of recent recordings at CoMA Recording Studio below.

All spaces in all buildings are connected with CoMA Gallery, a meandering wall and floor space for works on display. Members pay $25 for each 6’ x 8’ area of space used for display. Members receive 100 % of sales from CoMA Gallery. CoMA Curator coordinates all shows, openings and visits.
